I like Amanda's costume and her hair so much. She looks gorgeous IMO.
And may I point out that I am very happy with EVERY setlock photo I can get (if they are legally taken) whether it is Martin, Benedict or Amanda. I do understand that many people are not very fond of Mary but what has happened with her character is not Amanda's fault.

Glad you mentioned this again, because I was going to say...
Many of these pictures are all over official sites, google etc,,,so really, they are out there.
Slightly different than an individual fan posting something on her blog etc,...

Guys seriously. Not bashing anyone. I think in an adaptation of " Sherlock Holmes" everybody should be allowed to prefer Holmes and Watson to Watson/Watson or Holmes/female Watson. If this is treated like saying evil already I don't know....

Please stay calm, everyone. No one bashed anyone. Wishing for a pic with the boys is fine, Amanda's costume looks interesting, especially the trouser skirt or whatever this is meant to be. Mrshouse, I hope you saw my post?

Yes, thank you, Susi, lovely...

I don't want to bash anyone but the ranting about too many Mary pictures and wanting to vomit at the thought of John/Mary scenes is just terrible IMO. That's bashing.
P.S.: Sorry, Susi, hadn't read your post before writing this.

Right. I should have kept this for PMs for example. I apologize to the fans who feel uncomfortable about what I said before.

I for one am very happy to see any pictures of any of the cast. I don't care what photographic combination is captured as they break for lunch - it is all good to me. I adore seeing BC in his Victorian coat (he looks so natty in it) and it is also quite lovely seeing AA along side of him in her fancy garb. And MF looked pretty darn smart looking in his outfit too. I am really looking forward to whatever they concoct for us in the Christmas Special.
Bring on more pictures of whomever (and in what ever mix of cast members that happen at that moment)!
I can't wait!!

Wow!

It´s incredible how a Victorian suit and a moustache immediately changed him into traditional Dr. Watson:

Yeah, let me join you. Wow!
I really love "our" Sherlock but Benedict would also make an adorable Victorian one. (In fact he DID make ...)

Wonderful new pics, thank you, nakahara
Joining the chorus as well...WOW...
You know what strikes me as quite funny? What we all love about BBC Sherlock is the modernization. Now we all go nuts at every slip of setlock in Victorian style

I probably shouldn't say this here, but actually: I'm not going nuts. I have all the faith in the world that Mofftiss will come up with something worthwile (yesterday I had the idea that maybe Sherlock, John or Mary will be telling a story to Baby Watson, and that story takes place in Victorian times...), but at the moment I'm just looking at those pics, thinking Okay, nice... Okay, apart from one of the very first pics with Benedict and the deerstalker, that really made me go .

And the Hollywood Reporter senses some drama among the fans:

To be honest, I can understand Martin's opinion. The whole setlock is disturbing. The fans may be quite as possible but ...

Oh, I can understand him as well. And we have talked about this a couple of days ago when Martin's interview in which he said this was published. And I don't think it's a new phenomenon that part of the fandom says that another part of the fandom shouldn't stalk the actors on set. What shouldn't be underestimated here is a certain degree of envy though. "If I can't go to setlock, nobody should be allowed to go" - I'm sure that's what is behind a lot of the criticism coming from within the fandom.

Yeah, envy, good point. I don't have a problem with that.
Do you know if anything like Setlock is practised with other shows?

Tbh, they could show me these guys in western costume or bathing suits or coats of armour and I would love it. These actors (and actresses) and their incredible team can pull off nearly anything.
Which does not mean that I do not want to see them in the world of 2015 or 2016 again. But I am open for everything as long as they keep the quality.
