Re: Favourite Martin pics

It is the loveliest gif of them, in a way.
Trouble is I think Benedict was genulnely upset and Martin  trying  to comfort him,,,so not the best circumstances!
He also got a hug and kiss from Amanda.
This was after the Caitlin Moran debacle and the less said about that the better.

Re: Favourite Martin pics

Oh God, so it was at that time? I had no idea.
Poor Benedict, I heard that he was terribly upset over that Caitlin Moran fasco.
But how sweet of Martin to comfort him like that! He is a true friend.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

I agree. This looks like Martin's twin brother, they were separated at birth, and this one is a perpetual college student. heh

Re: Favourite Martin pics

Martin in one of his past, forgotten roles again - wow, he is really a versatile actor:

He does crazy-pissed off-angry very well, too. Could be dangerous.

One of the best facets of John's character is when his actor gets to go OTT about something. Just by his looks, I've never been able to really buy into the idea of John-the-physician.  But John-the-Army-vet and John-the-Sherlock-watchdog-and-protector?  Yum. THAT I have no trouble seeing.

Re: Favourite Martin pics

The little smile John gives when he is pissed beyond reason is one of the most scary things I*ve seen.

Yeah, you know those warning rumbles that volcanoes give off before they explode sky high?  Like that. Makes me want to run for the hills. Or hug him real hard. heh

Re: Favourite Martin pics

Haha, I don't think hugging would be a good idea before the rupting John-volcano. ;)

On a slighly different note, I found this gem this morning:

I am woman, hear me roar. Given the opportunity (as if), I'd chance it. I think. ha
