Andrew to be the next Bond villain!
Wow, if this is really true... I'm deaded. I love James Bond, especially Daniel Craig's Bond, and having Andrew as baddie...

Yeah, that would be the coolest thing! I liked Skyfall very much and am very pleased that Sam Mendes is to be director again!

Yes, mrshouse, I think he'll make a fantastic villain. I think it'll be officially announced today.
As far as I know they were also thinking about Christoph Waltz, and I'll be glad if it really turns out that he won't be the new villain. Waltz as a baddie... wouldn't be very creative, if you ask me.

Very good choice, IMO. Although he played Moriarty, he is not exclusively associated with villains so there is an element of surprise. And you do not get the classic Russian/German/Asian baddie either. Looking forward to watch him in this.

With Javier Bardem we had a really creepy villain last time, I liked him a lot... sexual innuendo and all that.
Andrew can come across as the innocent guy quite easily, so I'm sure it'll be very interesting to see him face to face with Daniel Craig.

I never watch Bond but for Andrew Scott I will make an exception. I am really curious what part will he play in Bondverse and how will he pull it.

Interesting that Sam Mendes mentioned the name of every role except for the role Christoph Waltz is going to play. Could it really be Blofeld?
Whatever Andrew's exact role is gonna be, I can't wait to see it.

What wonderful news! Andrew is an excellent actor and deserves the exposure. I'm sure he'll be fantastic. I'm so glad Daniel Craig is back as Bond. I loved Casino Royale, was very disappointed in Quantum of Solace, and fell back in love with the franchise with Skyfall. I look forward to seeing this latest installment!

Also Ralph Fiennes, if anyone else is a fan (I am, but I'll miss Judi Dench!). They really do go for some great actors.
I loved Casino Royale and Skyfall - two of the best all time Bond films, I think.

This is a very, very big break for Andrew. Well deserved too. I think everyone felt the same about Quantum of Solace, except the theme tune, which was fantastic! Daniel Craig is a marvellous Bond. This is a mighty fine cast all round.
