I must say: Benedict getting interrupted by cheeto crunching is one of the best things in the world.
I swear, half of the theatres will be a bunch of kids who like the Madagascar movies, and then the other half will be full of people like us.

I love the trailer, it is an extended version of the first one. Benedict is wonderful.
And I was laughing out loud when "Düsseldorf" was mentioned, a town about some 20 miles from where I live. And I can swear that we have no Bavarian dancers with little Tyrolean hats over here. But it seems this is what Hollywood imagines Germany to be like.

Yes, 'national' stereotypes are a little irksome.
At least you don't have the issue of Hollywood always portraying baddies as Brits!

But see, when Hollywood does that, they end up with little sweet-clouds-and-rainbow people like Tom Hiddleston and Ben playing the baddies, and suddenly the baddies are everyone's favourite characters.

At least they didn't say Hamburg *emoticon rolling with laugh*
I will wait till it comes on DVD to hear the real voices of the actors. Apart from Ice Age, i find always that the original voices are better (i don't think that the german voice of Sherlock makes justice to Benedict voice) and that some jokes are lost in translations.

There's a very short little video on the DreamWorks Facebook page: Watch Benedict Cumberbatch and John Malkovich, the stars of Penguins of Madagascar, interview each other in our "Breaking the Ice" video series!

Benedict's voice recording for Agent Classified!
Why do I suddenly feel like saying "Sorry, sir, so, so sorry"
Offline
Grinning like an idiot, sorry, sir… no, not sorry.

His sarcasm laugh... hilarious!
And seriously, why does he have to look the way he looks while doing voice recording...???

Just natural acting I guess, helps him to get into the role.

Anyone catch any of his Tumblr Q&A yesterday?
He gave some amusing answers but my god did some people ask dumb questions!
"If you were a pizza what kind of toppings would you have"?
But then again he was there to promot a silly movie. (Not that I don't love silly movies)
He does have the patience of a saint.

Just for fun, a short mockumentary about the making of Penguins of Madagascar:

Funny little video of Benedict and John Malkovich, doing publicity for Penguins of Madagascar, talking about hard words to pronounce.
