'Clarity' by Zedd

I've got the worst chills and tears streaming down my cheeks (but in a good way I suppose...) I was listening to the Eurovison songs for this year and I've just put Hungary's on repeat.
I feel like such a traitor but this is my favourite this year... I should be saying Denmark and Ireland, as I'm working as a delegation host for the Irish delegation.
But WOW!
'Running' by Andras Kallay

What a powerful song Phantom!
Been looping Coldplay's new song Oceans. Sounds like their old stuff with a pinch of their new sound somewhere in there.

Wow, that is beautiful. I LOVE Coldplay!
I'm still listening to Eurovision songs, when I'm done working in a few weeks I might just be a liiiittle tired of it, but right now it just makes me smile (well other than that song that makes me cry)

Once when I sat in a Greek restaurant I heard this wonderful singer´s voice and liked it immediately. Her name is Despina Vandi. She has some very beautiful songs. „
Thelo na se do“ (I want to see you) reminds me of Sherlock and his situation in TEH, when John was angry at him and he was desperate to obtain his forgiveness. The lyrics of the song fit perfectly for that.
And a romantic at heart, I want to pretend that „Ela“ (Come) is John´s response to finding out that Sherlock is alive:

'Summer of 69' by Bryan Addams is playing on my playlist...
and I remember how they blasted that song on my last day of high school in 2009... when we were all dancing around this big tree in the park because that's a tradition and that feeling that everything was finally starting...

I've been listening to the music from the GoT trailers lately...they all have a very dark alternative feel to them, but are just great to listen to:
Chelsea Wolfe - Feral Love:
The Everlove - Cities in Dust:

I love Genesis - the early years - the time of Peter Gabriel. It sounds so melancholy and very melodic.
The first two songs of this album I like at most. It is a little bit of desire within while dreaming of hunting clues with Mr. Holmes....
Lyrics to I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)
It's one o'clock and time for lunch,
When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench,
I can always hear them talk.
There's always been Ethel:
"Jacob, wake up! You've got to tidy your room now."
And then Mister Lewis:
"Isn't it time that he was out on his own?"
Over the garden wall, two little lovebirds - cuckoo to you!
Keep them mowing blades sharp...
I know what I like, and I like what I know;
getting better in your wardrobe, stepping one beyond your show.
Sunday night, Mr Farmer called, said:
"Listen son, you're wasting your time; there's a future for you
in the fire escape trade. Come up to town!"
But I remebered a voice from the past;
"Gambling only plays when you're winning"
- I had to thank old Miss Mort for schoooling a failure.
Keep them mowing blades sharp...
I know what I like, and I like what I know;
getting better in your wardrobe, stepping one beyond your show.
When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench,
I can always hear them talk.
Me, I'm just a lawnmower - you can tell me by the way I walk.

My guy just told me to listen to this song because it reminded him of us... *faints from love-overdose* (I've never had a boyfriend before...). He can't talk so he uses songs sometimes to express his emotions.
This song is about a loss of a loved one... but for us it makes sense I guess... I have a new favourite song and I always will.
I want to hug him so bad... why is Holland so far away?
I know you're gone, I know you're gone...
But I don't feel what I know
I know you're gone, I know you're gone
But my mind aint in control
Cause it's my heart that's been missing you
And it's the heart I need to listen to.
It's been singing songs for tender dreams
The ones you sang to help us sleep
And one day I will sing those songs
Sing until I sleep.
Just like you sang, sang to me...
From the day that I met you
I stopped feeling afraid
In your arms I feel safe,
In your arms I feel safe.
From the day that I met you
I stopped feeling afraid
In your arms I feel safe,
In your arms...
Miss you so, I miss you soo,
And I'll miss you till I'm old.
I miss you so, I miss you so.
But my fears will fade I know .
Cause it's my heart that you helped to build.
And love is my compass still.
Love will fill the holes I've got
Cause you will never hold me but...
I know that you are with me,
And I know that you're at peace.
Cause you let us sing you to sleep.
You let us sing your heart to sleep.
From the day that I met you
I stopped feeling afraid
In your arms I feel safe,
In your arms I feel safe.
From the day that I met you
I stopped feeling afraid
In your arms I feel safe,
In your arms...
And I know that you are with me
and I know that you're at peace
Cause you've let us sing your soul, your mind and heart to sleep.

Now this is a weird combination but I'm listening to:
Southern Gothic on Spotify (it's a long playlist)
Royal Blood- as listened to with my daughter. It is very rocky but I love it
Julian Casblancas- lots of stuff but especially Human Sadness
