In case you (or anyone) is interested, here is an adaptation of “A Scandal in Bohemia” from the 80's Granada series with Jeremy Brett. Irene Adler is being played by Gayle Hunnicut and here she is an opera singer rather a dominatrix. Watching it you can see the differences and similarities between “Bohemia” and “Belgravia.” Both of them had special safe in their house to protect their photos (though in the case of “Sherlock”, the photos were on Irene’s phone). In this original story it ends with Irene outsmarting Holmes but in “Sherlock” she does it in the beginning (and then again during the last act). Still, I will state that I have loved both versions equally.

I'm not sure where to post this, but it is clearly an very interesting Doyle-reference, despite of so-called "Johnlock" background.
