Since threads for individual fics tend to sink down into The Void very quickly, what about starting a thread dedicated to all fics and recs that deal specifically with missing moments and canon-compatible backstory? I'm always looking for stuff from that genre, since it's so rare.  What do you think?

Thank you, I read your comment at AO3. I love feedback that is really feedback so BIG thank you!  And I would love to see a section (or whatever the correct term is) where topics could be started that are canon-compatible, but I think the slash afficianados see their view in canon, too. I'm not one who sees slash at all, but I certainly see the writers teasing the slash community in every episode. It's almost as if the 21st century version of Sherlock (which is BY FAR now my favorite) includes something for everyone. There's even a ready-made MarySue, for pete's sake.  I'm not complaining mind you, just saying.  It's a feast for the eyes and the brain, even when you don't like the outcome.

Who would we ask about a non-slash canon topic thingey?  I don't want to barge in here and ask for favours, but maybe one of the long standing membbers might want to join?
