I saw the trailer the other day, it looks pretty good. I loved Imelda Staunton
I hope it will be successful, Andrews partner wrote the scipt, that would be fantastic for both of them.

Awww…  and a bit more publicity for it from one of our favorite faces!

Sherlockology has a great write-up on it, I'll just let them do the talking since they have an exclusive:
Belated agreeing with the rest of you, too!  Never heard the story before, but sounds great.

He doesn't give away a lot in the AMA.  Some of the questions and comments are rude, but I think that's typical of AMAs, isn't it?
Looking forward to the film.

Yes, it was quite boring.
Still looking forward to the film, too.

Pride-Meet the filmmakers
Andrew Scott and Faye Marsay Q&A - Apple Store, London
A wonderful Q&A, he's so lovely and the interview was so emotional

...and the Pride Press conference at TIFF.
The guy, with the glasses and dark blue suit and shirt, in front of the Pride poster is Andrews boyfriend (or like I read his hubby ) and script writer of Pride Stephen Beresford. Both a good catch, aren't they

And Bill Nighy is such a cool guy, I like him

That really is a lovely interview, emotional and honest, both of the actors seemed so down to earth and and humble, extremely likable and compassionate and I can´t wait to see this movie!

This film seems to be ill-fated for me - it's the second time running that I've arranged to see it but the arrangement has fallen through! Hoping to see it on Saturday.

Such a great cast, i cannot wait for a DVD release (at the moment i go very seldom to cinema, i don't have a good one in my town, they bring only big films amd for short times). I love Imelda in everything i have saw her.

I finally saw Pride today and would highly, highly recommend it!  The subject matter is so emotive that it would have been easy to for it to be overly sentimental, but it's not at all.  You will cry (and laugh), and also think.  It hit me on a personal level, having lived through those times, but my son loved the film too.   Go and see it if you can.  You won't be disappointed.
There's a great article about the real people behind the story here,
and video here:

I finally saw Pride yesterday and I absolutely loved it, such a heartwarming and sincere film, I haven´t seen such a wonderful film about friendship, solidarity and social-political committment for a long,
long time and I really had to cry in the end and was extremely moved; and even my rather unemotional husband had to shed a few tears at the ending and had been visibly touched.
What a shame there were only 6 other people with us in the cinema and it has been shown only for 2 weeks, this film really deserves a large audience.

Pride did extremely well at British Independent Film Awards!    Best film!   And Andrew Scott and Imelda Staunton won best supporting actor and actress.   Congratulations to all involved.   This film doesn't seem to have had the attention it deserves, so I'm pleased to see it do so well.
