Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I assure you, you are not superficial.

THUD is a completely natural reaction here.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

That's one of the things I love about his generation of actors, all of them are affectionate and not afraid to show it.  Such a nice change from repressed American males..
http://www.ellecanada.com/blog/2014/09/08/tiff-2014-eddie-redmayne-and-benedict-cumberbatchs-epic-bromance/There were plenty of famous faces at the Variety at Holt Renfrew photo studio today, but Benedict Cumberbatch and Eddie Redmayne had eyes only for each other! In one of the sweetest moments of the morning, the two greeted each other with big (very manly, we assure you) hugs, Redmayne actually bounding across the room when he saw his fellow Brit was in the house. While Benedict sipped on a Fiji water, the two then proceeded to have a proper chinwag, joined by Redmayne’s fiance.

Don't you just love that they felt the need to assure us the hug was "manly."

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I know, how pathetic.  They are always hugging and kissing each other, BC, Hiddles, Martin, etc., no shortage of demonstrative and sincere affection - so refreshing and heartening to see those kind of supportive relationships among friends. Totally respect people who are that loving and not afraid to show it.
