This is not a fic and it's not long. It belongs here:

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

That's certainly a lot of evidence.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

It's a bit out of thin air in parts but nevertheless heartwarming and I can picture John closing himself up like that without any trouble.

I think it is basically using humour (others might call it sarcasm) on the too often heard clichés about why a person can't be gay, pointing out how ridiculous they are.

Want to post this. I love this scene anyway ... the interaction between the boys.

It's a brilliant idea.

Liked it except for the "Yes, Captain" at the end. Whatever their actual rank, military docs are always "Doctor," and as you can see from John's take-charge attitude in that scene, nobody forgets it. ha

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Let´s not forget that this was what influenced Mark Gatiss strongly while he was creating Sherlock

The first one though. Not even subtle.

Yellow diamonds in the light
And we're standing side by side
As your shadow crosses mine
What it takes to come alive
It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go

We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place
We found love in a hopeless place

Shine a light through an open door
Love and life I will divide
Turn away cause I need you more
Feel the heartbeat in my mind

It's the way I'm feeling I just can't deny
But I've gotta let it go

We found love in a hopeless place
