Excuse me? It's a scene from His Last Vow.
It is Sherlock, not Benedict.Yes, I´m aware of that.
But it seems to me that they genuinely made Ben laugh while they were filming this.
(The same way Ben made Martin laugh during the "Well, I am not now!" sequence.)
Wasn't it when John said:"Well, I think we’d both find that embarrassing."? So it was in the script ...wasn't it?
It was, and I could imagine that Benedict lost it a bit because Mark pulled one of his typical Mycroft faces in response to John's remark.

Well,I think he's a professional enough for not needing someone to pull funny face to make him laugh.
If it's in the script, then actor acts.

So you don't think, that he doesn't show any "personal" emotions in the show? Nothing which isn't written down in the script ... ever?
Btw ... we are not talking about pulling funny faces, we are talking about Mark's Mycroft face.

No, it's probably true. He's doing what's written in the script and nothing else. And certainly nobody ever laughs on set. That would be highly unprofessional.

Agree, Solar. A bunch like those, they would never go that far. Really.

And let me just tell you what's professional: It's professional when Benedict Cumberbatch/Sherlock Holmes forgets his line in TSoT and just says "him" to Martin Freeman/John Watson while they are sitting on the sofa being drunk, and they just keep it in the finished episode. That's professional.

As long as they don't laugh it's all fine...

Well, I thought we'd already agreed that laughter on set is just not happening...! Not ever!

But a little smile from time to time?

To be more precise: I want tears!

Too sad ...

Probably they have someone who insults him on set

Really???

Sad, pensive and moody then:

But nevertheless... I love him.

Ok,since we're splitting hairs here anyway:why don't people realise that it's not actually "him" Sherlock says but"thing"
