I don't know if I am a "fan" (not really able to be a fan of anyone or anything), but I really enjoy BBC adaptation of SH : an excellent job !!!
It made me open the books again, and that's a good thing.
By the way, I am not English, sorry for any mistakes you could read in my posts
See you soon

Welcome, BHavers.
Be careful, we are having a bad influence on people from time to time and turn them into fangirls or fanfic readers or worse.

Yes, Schmiezi is quite right. You can get quite addicted here. So, welcome, have fun and - could it be that you are a fan of Elizabeth George?

Thanks for all your warm welcome !
And yes, obviously, I"m rather fond of sergent Havers.
Although I prefer A. Christie and E. George (more "psychology" in the story), Doyle did an amazing job with his tandem and his visionary use of forensic.

I never read the books, but really liked Sharon Small in that role

Don't try her first one for a start, it's her weakest imho.
And except for the last ones, it's not necessary to read them in the right order anyway
