I don't know if I am a "fan" (not really able to be a fan of anyone or anything), but I really enjoy BBC adaptation of SH : an excellent job !!!
It made me open the books again, and that's a good thing.
By the way, I am not English, sorry for any mistakes you could read in my posts ![]()
See you soon

Welcome, BHavers.
Be careful, we are having a bad influence on people from time to time and turn them into fangirls or fanfic readers or worse. ![]()

Yes, Schmiezi is quite right. You can get quite addicted here. So, welcome, have fun and - could it be that you are a fan of Elizabeth George? ![]()

Thanks for all your warm welcome !
And yes, obviously, I"m rather fond of sergent Havers.
Although I prefer A. Christie and E. George (more "psychology" in the story), Doyle did an amazing job with his tandem and his visionary use of forensic.

I never read the books, but really liked Sharon Small in that role ![]()

Great !
I had never heard of Dorothy L. Sayers, but now I will find a book and try.
Thanks a lot for this hint Harriet ![]()

Don't try her first one for a start, it's her weakest imho.
And except for the last ones, it's not necessary to read them in the right order anyway ![]()
