Oh btw, did he say he was a day late? A day? His days seem to have more than 24 hours (which sometimes seems the case judging from his schedule)

Don't know. Stopped thinking.

BTW: Did you notice how ridiculous short the other videos are?

Re: Tom Hiddleston nominates Benedict for the Ice Bucket Challenge

Of course you do! The others are so short, you hardly recognise them before they're over.

Oh my... I'm still lost for words and I've lost count how many times I watched this video!

Benedict has elevated getting soaked to an art form.

Honestly, ladies, I don't know what's got into you. It's just a man getting wet.

*runs and hides*

(The real reason I'm here is for my quarterly check on whether I'm still only Sherlocked, or also Cumberbatched. OK, still just Sherlocked. If the ice bucket can't do it for me, nothing can.)

How comes it BC looks so much older when he's his own self  than when he's Sherlock???

But even you have to admit that he displays a great commitment for the cause as well as humour and creativity and courage, don't you?

Acting skills?

Re: Tom Hiddleston nominates Benedict for the Ice Bucket Challenge

I think he does not look older than he did in series 3. There was a distinct change in his looks from series 2 to series 3. More mature. And the first thing my daughter was that he looked so tanned compared to Sherlock.

Re: Tom Hiddleston nominates Benedict for the Ice Bucket Challenge

He certainly looks older than in S1 (and the Pilot!), but he already looked older in S2 and then again in S3... and I have to admit: I love it when he looks a bit more mature. Totally works for me.
And apart from that: The man grows older just like we all do, doesn't he?

Re: Tom Hiddleston nominates Benedict for the Ice Bucket Challenge

I found that he was often at the extremes in series 3. Sherlock either looked extremely young (eg. the "Mycroft promised to take them to a matinée of Les Mis" scene) or much older than his years (eg. the Mary's pregnant scene in TSOT). The odd time that he did look his age, it was as a mature man in his late 30s, not a youthful one (eg. the final scene in TEH with the reporters or the Magnussen shooting scene). This rather reflects how Benedict himself is growing up in a sense and sporting a more mature clothing style.

Mary

John: That's clever. So you scratch their backs and...
Sherlock: Yes. And then disinfect myself.
