Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Thanks, Mrshouse.  I really enjoyed the "deductions" in this meta.  I've always realized that the music in the show produces certain (and strong) emotions in me but I never really stopped to figure out why.  This analysis really helped.  Oh wow, finding the John theme hidden in the tarmac scene was quite brilliant and I loved how the author caught how John's eye blinks in TEH were in time with the music.  He looks so haunted before Mary comes into the picture and the music completely underscores that.  Brilliant!  There's always something incredible to find in this show.

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

Yes, tobe, that whole sequence screams "Where is Sherlock, he misses Sherlock!" at us.

OMG, was that supposed to make me laugh?  Because it absolutely did. I sat here and giggled my fool head off. OMG, the stuff of waking nightmares!!  Too funny. As though John got up half asleep, with Sherlock front and center in his hopes and dreams, and then....  just outside the door, his current reality was staring him in the face.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes, Tobe and I were having a good laugh over this.  It was an amusing switch-a-roo. Usually people wake up from a nightmare to a better reality, but this went the other way.  Poor John...

Go back and watch it again, but this time note where Johns hand is just as he is woken up. It's very quick but his hand has slipped lower as he dreams of Sherlock. I wonder what it could mean? *wiggles eyebrows suggestively*

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

It is too quick for a screenshot. But the jerky way in which he throws away Mary's hand on being woken is quite intriguing. And tobe is right, John goes to the door fully expecting to find Sherlock - who else should wake him so early in the morning - and finds - her. No wonder he acts just this side of rude with her. Trying to suppress memories of the dream while at the same time being called to deal with a drug addict ...

Absolutely! He's all like:" Damn, this is all so very, very sexy, there's nothing I want more than snogging you into oblivion right now and here after two years of missing you and it hurts sooooo good to have you back and now I got myself into this tedious engagement how do I get out of this?"

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Hm.... wasn't there a Johnlock hymn thread?

Well, I just listened again to the text of this song from my youth.
Fits for both sides.

Wonderful kitsch:

Oh yes, I remember this song very well...

I've been feeling a bit fragile for a couple of days since I heard about Robin Williams. This video made me cry. I do loves me some angst, but right now, today, this had me getting out the tissues. I want to tell John, take the violin and the bow from Sherlock's hands, put your arms around him, and kiss him. Can't you see how very very badly he needs you to do that?

*puts head in hands*  Why are men so stupid??  groan.....
