I guess it is pretty Hollywood (at least the US trailer), but I have seen much worse. There was not one moment that made me go something like 'oh my, what are they doing now...?'. What I hate in trailers (and movies, for that matter) are emotions that I just don't believe. And in this case I believed every second of it.

If you really want to see bad go watch the trailer for "50 Shades of Grey."

Sorry, just asking. LOL
I read exactly one of the books, the first, and decided that it isn't my kind of taste.
Won't go to the cinema for that. For sure.

Re: The Imitation Game

Just to be clear - I LOVE the trailers for TIG.
It's just that I know not to base any assumptions about the Movie on them; I still think this will be a great Film though.
As for 50 shades - No.Just.No.

Well, what can you do when the 'novel' the movie is based on is just trash? I think there has never been a novel I was less interested in. Okay, maybe a comparable one from a German 'author', but never mind that.

Exactly! As often as I can make it to the cinema. And later on Bluray ... no chance to count.

After all the hype I decided I might as well read the book; after all, I am a big fan of smut.
Couldn't even make it a third of the way through and I am usually not one to just quit on a book.  Even if it's bad I'll finish it most of the time.  This one no way.

It actually makes me mad when I think of the money this has made.  And I don't really like them talking about how it started out as a work of fan fiction because I think it gives the real talented fan writers a bad mark.

Ummmmmm, topic.  We did have a topic didn't we?
The trailer for The Imitation game is outstanding.

Re: The Imitation Game

Great info! I'm reading at the moment another Turing's biography and I constantly wonder what our world will look like if Alan wasn't treated like he was treated...
