This is really an upsetting experience... When I was a child I smelled this exhalation, too.... The worst thing is that sometimes I still have smell-hallucination. I will never forget how it smells...

When you find yourself mumbling Moriarty's monologues at random points in the day. I do it all the time and people give me strange looks because I sound insane when I say 'just die already... One little push, and off you pop...' in public. Whoops.

Seriously? Oh what a crazy cluster of fans here (including myself).....

Oh yes. On a separate occasion, I was sitting on the couch and I spontaneously busted out, 'Ladies and gentleman of the jury, James Moriarty stands accused of several counts of attempted burglary...' and so on, and my brother just gave me this stare of utter disbelief.

I'm sorry you experienced that, Bored... It's certainly not a smell I want to smell again... gosh it's depressing...
I actually shocked myself when I thought the way I did...
We are nuts... I suppose we have to be, don't we??

@Breathing-is-boring:
Have you ever thinking about being on the stage? This is not a joke. I mean it honesty. Maybe you have talent.
@PhantomLady:
I for myself am really nuts. Yes, I am. And I have the feeling, Sherlock makes it more intensive.

I know I've always been a nutter... Sherlock has been quite the enabler...
Oh and you must be obsessed when you sometimes actually think of Sherlock Holmes as an actual person...

@Bored-to-be-alive I had a significant role in a primary school play, but I don't think I'm really that good and I have other aspirations for which to reach. Writing is my passion, so it is what I do. I'm also advanced in mathematics and biology and am truly considering a medical career or something in intel. Maybe I'll pick it up as a hobby, though. Becoming a character in my mind is the best way to understand them and translate them onto a page or a computer screen.
As to being insane, I often think about disturbing things. Dear me. At least I'm not psychopathic... Yet.

I want to get into acting again myself; more than standing in front of a mirror rehearsing and practicing emotions. I bet you'd be great, Breathing, if you wanted to!
Haha, now I wonder if Sherlock does that... rehearses his faked emotions like the time he cried...
Offline
I'm absolutely certain he does. The man deserves a BAFTA. (And so does BC, but the world is unfair).

He does!!
I just saw a pic of my best friend on Facebook (Who I've made into a bit of a Sherlockian... just like I did with Doctor Who) and realized she was wearing a pair of pants with almost the same pattern as Sherlock's wallpaper! I wonder if she realizes!

Oh, Phantom Lady. That let me think of a girl in a Sherlock-Fan-Group on Facebook I saw on a picture. She was wearing a dress with the wallpaper of 221B... I have to admit: I was a little bit envious... Wait. I'm searching it now in the WWW....

Aaah, look what I found:
This is a nice Sherlock-obsession, isn't it?

I wish I was that good at nail art. Dang.
I did haul a poster for S3 across the ocean and kinda hissed at anyone who tried to touch it. You're right; I think we are insane. I was upset when it got bent on the plane, but I was satisfied that I got it safely on my wall with minimal casualties.
My phone case is a damask pattern that is not the exact wallpaper pattern, but the similarity was the decision-making point into buying it. I bought a sleeve for my mac with the wallpaper pattern, though.

I NEED nails like that! Before I started working at the hospital I was really into nail art!!
This is my favourite tea cup...

Ooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Very, very, very, very PRETTY. I love it. Is that yours?

It sure is mine! My entire china set has that pattern... I actually got it before my Sherlock obsession started... but now I appreciate them so much more!

That is quite the fantastic cup.
Uuuuhm... You know you're obsessed when you sit down and attempt to draw Ben's eyes.
Yes, I did. No, they're not totally accurate, but it's the first attempt.

Oh, I think you did very well!! The colours are great and they're looking "alive". The lights reflecting... very good!
Just...the left eye (his right one) should be a bit more angular, can you see?
And take the eyebrows a bit down.

OMFG that is amazingly done. VERY talented!!
I wish I could draw like that!
