Don't make people into heroes John. Heroes don't exist and if they did I wouldn't be one of them.

Welcome, Shirley, to our forum. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with all these nice people. Don't worry, many of us are non-native speakers, so that's no problem at all. And it's great that we are so international .

I can understand what u say. In fact, u speak Chinese quite well. I haven't heard of any TV program in China which has ever played Sherlock so far. So I download  them from the Internet and of course they have subtitles both in English and Chinese. I have pasted the url to change my avatar, but it always disappears and then shows nothing when I log in the next time. Do u know what's wrong with it?

Re: Hello from China

Hi  shirley!!   Welcome to the forum  from  one who lives in the USA.   I'm so glad to meet one from China...
I think the name Shanghai  is beautiful-- It reminds me of a song called Shanghai Breezes  which was made famous by John Denver.   I  hope you enjoy your time here.

Hi, Shirley. I'm from SH too. It never occurred to me that  in this forum I  would ever meet someone from my hometown which is so so so far away from Holes's.
