Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

After Norway the Ukraine has its own Johnlock parody as well. Hope it works for you, I have problems in playing it:

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

That looked really funny.  I just wish there were subtitles.  I'd love to know what was going on. The actor playing John really had Martin's mannerisms down cold!

And I said "dangerous" and here you are.

You. It's always you. John Watson, you keep me right.

About the way I read the scene each time - can't help

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

That's why it's the loudest subtext in television, I suppose.

They might as well have the subtext tattooed in neon on their foreheads!

Another nice subtext:

See Solar's link in post below

The link didn't work, I think this is the correct one:
http://anindoorkitty.tumblr.com/tagged/oh-i-love-it-when-the-subtext-is-spelled-out-in-red%21

And that subtext makes the scene... so much better. (I guess everyone knows by now that I'm still having difficulties with it...)

Ah yes, thank you, Solar.
Yes, that subtext makes the scene so much better.

And this is really interesting - and it not even mentions that one of Sherlock's first names is Scott.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Oh yes, very good. And even when they're not alone in their apartment and their neighbour is with them... John starts talking about Sherlock. Sherlock is on his mind. Constantly.
And John on Sherlock's, for that matter. When he's out with Molly and Lestrade in TEH, John is right there with him.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I just started reading the board, new around here , and someone posted a link that showed Watson crying, rain falling behind him, saying Sherlock was his best friend. Was that scene cut from the final showing? I have only watched each show once but I really don't remember that!

LOVE all your discussions.

Thanks,
Charley

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Was it at the beginning of TRF maybe? John at his therapist?

Edit: This scene?

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes! it's at the start? Wonder how I missed it?? Thank you much, I will have to watch it again. Sometimes my Netflix gets the hiccups, doesn't like our internet connection, I must have just missed it.

Thanks again!

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

It's right at the beginning before opening credits (?) start. Maybe that's why you've missed it?

When we were watching "Braking Bad" on DVD we noticed after some episodes that our player never showed the (quite important) bits before the opening credits. We had to "rewind" first.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I generally watch stuff on my phone and it tends to "hiccup" when I play video or songs, could have been the issue or I just fast-forwarded past the credits that day is another option, but I usually don't do that!

I really need to rewatch all of them, I didn't catch all the details y'all post about! It's great fun to read all the nitpicking and theories on here. Adds so much more depth to the stories. Love it!

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Right, I love it, too. And I watched all of them more than 5 times until today, but still some people find small details and let me go like :"WOW! I didn't see that! He/she is right!"
