Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yep. They did it in the pilot and they just can't make me unsee what I've seen.

And let's just take a look again at a similar moment in ASiP:

I'm in a pessimistic mood today...
This does not help

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Slightly sad, but beautiful none the less.

-----------------------------------

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Pretty.
The blogger's comment that she's "old enough to know better" made me smile. Me, too.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Deep dark confession :  Every time I see someone fangirling over the Sherlock/Molly kiss I really want to remind them "you know that's just Anderson's fantasy, right"?

But I don't.  I try to be good.

Whenever I see that kiss, I do my right brain-left brain thing. I only see Sherlock and his big hands on [someone's] face, his curly hair, the coat, etc, and frankly, everything else in that shot just fades away....  ag's fantasy would put someone else's face between those two hands.....

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I guess I know who that "someone else" is...

And this is what I call a wonderful observation. I know we've been talking about John's clothes in that scene already in some other thread, but I think nobody came up with this:
