I am still wondering why they did not only change the length of the episodes but also these blatant hints. Just think of Sherlock on the roof. A bit over the top but very dramatic.

Since we've already started collecting our evidence in this very thread (thanks again, Susi, for starting it! ), we should have no problems at all with assembling tons of material for that Encyclopedia Johnlockia. Should turn out to be a bestseller.
And Susi, that link is really, really great. We are talking about selfless love vs selfish love here. At first sight it might seem as if Mary is trying to protect John - but her actions...! No way!
