Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Such photos teach us to take the words of the creators with a grain of salt.  (No wonder they made those very slashy South Korean trailers)

"It is what it is says love." (Erich Fried)

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Ladies, I just realised that we have no separate section for the unaired pilot (which is slashy to the extreme). Shall we put our findings in here or do we need another thread for this?

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I love how Sherlock says "Feed you up", I love how they're looking at each other... and I'll definitely need to watch the Pilot again tonight.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Fine.

It is also interesting to compare this scene with the "I am not hungry" scene in ASiB. No matter if feeding has a sexual or emotional connotation - we see again and again how Sherlock is feeding John and deliberately not feeding Irene.

I vote for here, for what that's worth.
It was unaired, but it's on the DVD, so most of us have seen it.
I can't believe how young they both look!  Very pretty.

The pilot is the deep well from which all Johnlock springs.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

This image inhabits our fantasies of Sherlock and populates most of the Johnlock FFs that I have read...

Someone should write a Meta about it.  Maybe it's because Sherlock seems so vulnerable and approachable in this imagery---not to mention young and innocent.

I'm not a big fan of facial hair.
When I first met my husband he had a bushy mustache.
I expressed my dislike of facial hair.
He shaved it off shortly after without my having to pitch a fit.
.............................just saying.

I haven't read much of it, but from what I understand, the original deep well came from the mind and fingers of ACD himself. *smile*

And that's exactly how I look at people when I want to talk about the rent. Right.

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?
