I adore Sherlock's curls but I admit they didn't look natural in season 3. I like his hair best in season 2.

Marta, where does the morning gif come from? It's fanstastic!

And the picture with a flover, I can't even finish that senten...

I didn't care for Sherlock's hair in TSoT or much of S3. It was too controlled and they used way too much product. I read that the Best Man's speech took 5 days to film; continuity would be so much simpler if the hair-dressers didn't have to fuss constntly over his curls.

Occasionally, we see setlock photos with someone re-arranging his hair, trying to match a previous shot. The temptation to just immobilize those curls must be over-powering! I liked Ben's hair from the un-aired pilot---messy curls on top and shorter hair on the sides---which also made him look much younger and softened his features.

Of course, he was much younger...
