Ugh that picture is killing me! Why doesn't he wear THIS pair of jeans more often? The pairing of that blazer jacket and the jeans is LETHAL.

It's amusing that he dresses more and more like Sherlock as the years go on. Sherlock wore nearly this exact outfit in TBB, but his jeans were darker. I think Ben looks better in it than Sherlock did.

You're right Mary, he does actually start to take over Sherlock's style... and he does wear it better. But he's a bit more 'grown up' than our dear Sherlock is

Well, more grown up than season 1&2 Sherlock. But season 3 Sherlock is all grown up. I like how Ben can wear the suits and still look like a normal human being; sometimes a little rumpled and sweaty. Sherlock just doesn't look human because his suits never get rumpled or dirty and he certainly never breaks a sweat.

Both pull off The Scarf perfectly, though. I saw a really funny pic of Ben recently where he is wearing the most ridiculous outfit, flip flops (with a bloody bandage over a toe), shorts, a button down shirt, and what appears to be Sherlock's exact scarf. He should have looked like a moron instead of a sex god. I'm sure this picture has been posted here, but I'm not going to wade through thousands of posts to find it.

Have you seen the Sherlock unaired pilot? Skinny jeans in that one. OMG. And we even get a glimpse/hint of Sherlock's pants! Appear to be grey boxer briefs or possibly Y-fronts. Wonder if they're what our Sherlock wears. But I digress.

In my head canon, unaired pilot Sherlock in the skinny jeans is what Sherlock looked like when he was younger, until he got clean and started to dress in a way that would give off a good first impression (before he opens his mouth...).

I love the pants discussion, made me giggle a lot. Isn´t it great that there´s a topic about almost everything in this forum?

Oh yes, he really looks like rebellious youth in the pilot.. works very well for me, too!

I guess I need help... I also need an opposite profile shot of young Sherlock, where we see the mole. I don't know what it is about that damn mole, but yum.
