Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Let the storm rage on...

I (try to) understand some people doesn't see him as CumberGod but "ugly", seriously? Actors aren't ugly.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Thank you!

I cannot live without brainwork. What else is there to live for? Stand at the window there. Was there ever such a dreary, dismal, unprofitable world? See how the yellow fog swirls down the street and drifts across the dun-coloured houses. What could be more hopelessly prosaic and material? What is the use of having powers, Doctor, when one has no field upon which to exert them?

Seriously, to diss this sweet man - how just jealous and petty must they be?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

He does have a special look I suppose... but ugly... no! But yup, that just leaves more for us!

Luckily no one really knows who he is here... my mother does though and she finds him 'creepy'... but to be honest I don't really want to drool over the same guys as my mum

Exactly.. can´t expect everyone to have such a refined taste .
Some of my facebook friends recently said he was "creepy"..  Sometimes I don´t understand people.

Edit: Cross-posted with Phantom.. your mother, too?

Personally, I think Benedict looks a bit like a Scandinavian.
I am always speculating about Danelaw, danish vikings living in England and a theory that he has ancestors among them.
Strange that Danish people find his looks to be unusual too....

My Mum loves him but yes, others find him creepy.
I just think they are ignorant.

I've had to deal with someone telling me it's a waste of time liking him because he's gay and that he looks like a snake!!!  I ask you!  I've seen a snake and it scared the hell out of me, Mr C very much has the opposite effect!!

It would just be so much easier if everyone could respect each other's like and dislikes instead of being rude about them.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

He does have a bit of a Scandinavian look to him, a bit!

Yup, my mother also finds him 'creepy'... she's only seen him in Parade's End. As faith would have it, that is one of my favourites

Awh I do like that snapshot of him dancing at that Con QA!

She only saw him in one Tv series?
It´s all right then - she´ll fall for him if exposed to him for a few more minutes.
Here´s a method how it´s done (by Legendofsherlock):

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Trust me I've tried, I've really tried but to no avail... I've stopped because I found out why she doesn't like him... and I respect that... I don't want to hurt her

And hey, honestly I don't want to share with her

That´s sad - but on the other hand, more of Benedict is left for you then!

I had a good hunch then.  (or an eye of an antropologist)

Phantom, but that would spoil your romance, would it not?

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

hence the 'ew'...

You know, the picture I saw of the man who might be my father did remind me of a long haired hippie version of Benedict...

*slaps cheeks trying to forget that thought*

Hehe, nice chart! I know only this one:

I constantly oscillate between stage five and six..
