I think Sherlock enjoyed playing the game with both Irene and Moriarty,,,but(again to borrow from Steven)he wasn't going to settle down and buy a volvo with either.

The fact that the sum of his writing apart from Sherlock and his declared love for The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes may taken as a hint that he is not adverse to Johnlock as such.

Indeed, as he has said MULTIPLE times: he is not averse to any interpretation of BBC Sherlock, but they did not write it as Johnlock.
