Oh, yes, I do not share every opinion on there but some of the metas are amazing and very convincing.

Yes, it's the pic of the link, Solar. And always my pleasure, dear.

And yes that could be ...

For you, Solar.

I find this cene to be slightly sad and nostalgic.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

It's a perfect shot and the word 'nostalgic' absolutely nails it. The mirror, the lamp, the lighting, the atmosphere - and those two men, preparing for Moriarty, probably both knowing that this might be the last time that they're together in 221B like this...

And there is the very short moment in the hallway. "Ready?" "Yes." So full of meaning. Always takes my breath.

And it´s their last peaceful moment together. From that moment, everything goes downhill for them and everything they held for firm collapses around them...

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

But it's so true, nakahara... everything that happens in TRF after that is breathless, unstable, uncertain and so different from the other episodes. They are basically on the run, even if they are not literally running all the time. Sherlock and John as we knew them are no more.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes, it was this hardship that made them realise what they mean for each other, how closely they are bound together.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Yes, well, but then look what happens in S3... Sherlock returns after two years and everything is different.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Of course. And I do not resent his being together with Mary. But in the light of series 3 Moriarty's threat gets a new dimension.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Still, I find it symphatetic that even being with Mary, John never forgot about Sherlock.
