No idea, really. Those two gifs make it absolutely clear... John is not amused. Not amused at all.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

John Watson is tired of your Sh** Janine.

But speaking of the scene seriously.......Martin Freeman is an excellent actor.  This is the man that sayts "I can do that with a look."  And he can.  He could give Hamlet's solioquy with a few twitches of his eyebrows and a suppressed cough.

Those faces he's making are not just surprise and disbelief.  He's UPSET!  He's JEALOUS.  And nothing could convice me otherwise.

That's exactly what I see there. I really wonder what it said in the script for this very moment - was that already in the script or is it Martin doing this? Whatever it was, I see surprise, disbelief and yes, a whole lot of jealousy.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I think John gets jealous that Sherlock keeps secrets from him.

Eventually everyone will support Johnlock.   Independent OSAJ Affiliate

... but there may be some new players now. It’s okay. The East Wind takes us all in the end.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

I actually re-read Susi's OP and thought it a tad ambigous, as the article she linked to, seemed to be about the debate.
But I confess, I had not seen the subsequent post.
So yes, it makes it clear Susi's original intention for the thread.
However, I now need confirmation(from a member of staff) that I am being banned from posting in this thread.

And yet, he's about to marry his pregnant girlfriend (or maybe he already married her--- I forget the timeline). Hmmm, strange how the human mind works, isn't it? No one (but John, presumably) is good enough for his Sherlock, but OTOH, John can go out and pick out someone to live his life with and marry her, right in front of God and all those witnesses. The green-eyed monster, it ain't so pretty, is it.

I agree. The Johnlock in the actual show, although implied and not spelled out except very subtly, is irrefutable. For those of us who can see it, we can't see anything else. For those who refuse to see it, well....  they're missing out on a good thing, but they don't think so.  So whatever floats everyone's boats.

Neither he nor Sherlock exactly excel at minding their own business, after all.

Re: The comprehensive Johnlock guide (Johnlockers only)

Well I would have thought so too, but apparently not.
EDIT: Oh sorry, we cross posted.
Yes you're right.
At least, everything is Sherlock's business.

One of the wonderful things about the various threads on the forum is that sometimes we get to go off on tangents. IMO, as long as no one is being flamed or made to feel less-than somehow, a big part of the fun is allowing the discussion to flow, at least briefly. I'm not a mod, don't pretend to be one, don't play one on TV, lol, but I enjoy it when people feel free to chime in.  Just my two cents, marked down from five. I'm headed back to my cave now, thankful as always for our hard-working, dedicated moderators (thanks, ladies!)

Please, once and for all - this is not about banning anyone from any thread. For me the matter is quite simple.
Let me give you an example. We have a thread called "Why we love Mary". I have never posted in there because I do not love Mary. But I respect that there are members who do. Therefore I do not go there and start a discussion about why I do not love her. I think that people who love Mary do not wish to defend their opinions over and over again. So people who do not appreciate/like/ship Johnlock should do the same. That is all I ask.
