Which projects? I think I must have missed something

The Lost City of Z is now not filming until next year.

I guess we just don't know whether or not it's by his own choice that he obviously won't be doing any acting in the too near future. I just don't think that he 'over-exposed' himself in the last two years... at first sight it seems as if he had been in lots of movies and done a lot of work, but among those projects were films in which he only played small roles. I wouldn't really call that over-exposing, to be honest.
And because of the talented and devoted actor that he is, I personally would think that he'd be keen on starting with acting again rather sooner than later - because really, acting is what his job really is about. He hopefully enjoys all of the other things he's been doing in the past few months, but this just can't be what he wants to do for months and months...?
And yes, I might be totally on the wrong track here. And of course I'm being selfish here, because the longer it takes him to start filming again, the longer we'll have to wait for a new movie or series. And I'm not even mentioning "Sherlock" here anymore, because I have no idea if and when S4 is supposed to happen at all...

Well I don't think that he won't be doing acting in the near future. He will play Hamlet in theater, will be making Richard III for BBC, he will be doing dubbing for some films - it doesn't sound "unemployed" to me And I'm praying for starting shooting Sherlock 4 in 2015 but I fear that's only my dream.

Well, with "in the near future" I meant this year. All his projects seem to be scheduled for 2015 - "Hamlet", "Richard III" and LCoZ. And he's certainly not unemployed and probably doing lots of things we don't know anything about, like doing castings and stuff like that. But I was talking about pure and simple acting.
And if shooting for LCoZ starts at the beginning of next year, he'll probably go right into rehearsels for "Hamlet" after that. "Sherlock"...? Well, I guess we all can do the maths ourselves...

I know I'm probably on my own in thinking this.
But after seeing his most recent pics, I'm sure that lovely hair is getting longer, and I wouldn't be too shocked if Sherlock begins filming later this year, after all;) (crossed fingers!)

But don't you think the hair is still quite short on the sides...?
I'd love to think that you're right, but I could imagine that if something Sherlock happened later this year, it might indeed be for a one-off Christmas special...

A Christmas special is better than nothing.

Apparently, from the chat from Poland he's working on two films this year, one Hollywood, one independent.
There's also chat of developing Little Favour into a feature film (whether that's the independent film he's talking about I don't know, but his hair is a little Wallace right now...)

Two films this year, this would of course change things (as well as my mood ) considerably...

Sorry, I should have mentioned that earlier...Twitter wins again!

It is shorter at the sides, yes - but not as short as is has been these past few months - either he's deliberately growing it, or he's due a trip to the hairdresser! :D

Well he'll be home soon, back with his hairdresser and back with his family where he belongs.
Hurrah!

The way I'm feeling, I can't keep it inside
So, before I go to bed, I've got some announcements I'm sorry I didn't read new comments and changed a subject but I just have to write it and I'm tired.
Benedict Cumberbatch really exists! I never doubted it but now I know he does. I saw him today on the Q&A for Little Favour and he was charming, smart, charismatic, beautiful, talking fast, touching his thigh, oh my God his suit! So, he was just being himself.
The main topic of the conversation wasn't the film (despite the host's efforts) but rather Sunnymarch and production in general (Benedict was very keen on talking about his view on production). I'll write what he and others said tomorrow, I made some notes so I won't forget
The sad thing is, I didn't have a chance to get an autograph, no one did. Wherever he went, Benedict was just thrown into the car so there were lots of disappointed fans. I'm not, I'm happy I was able to see Benedict with my own eyes and be in the same room with him for over an hour! It's more I could imagine happen in Poland. An autograph? Next time, another place

Sorry you didn't get your autograph Marta - I think Ben got Adam to tweet an apology about bit being able to meet fans - but it sounds like you've got some lovely memories to keep; even better, imo

Marta, even if you didn't get an autograph, I'm sure this is an experience you will treasure for a long, long time, and nobody can't take it away from you. I'm really happy for you that you got the chance to be in the same room with him! Did you get the chance to take some pictures?
