Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

Very simple.

John wants to attract someone with his moustache. / Molly wants to attract someone with her lipstick.
Person X is neither impressed by the moustache nor by the lipstick.
John shaves it off saying it did not work for him. / Molly wipes it off saying it did not work for her.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

And the truth is that John saved if off and Molly wiped it off because it didn't work for him. I see...!!

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

But isn't that because Sherlock doesn't really possess much in the way of social airs and graces? Most people would either keep quiet or use a white lie. Sherlock, bluntly speaks his mind and tells them 'the truth'. They know from Sherlock that if he says it doesn't suit them, or something similar, then it really doesn't.

On a lighter note - I saw a tumblr post the other day according to which John has change his hairstyle between series 2 and 3. Now he parts his hair on the same side as Sherlock. Anybody willing to check this?

John wore the same checkered shirt for stag night that he wore when he and Sherlock first met at St. Bart's.

What do we say about coincidences?

Agreed.
And what about John's purple shirt in Hounds?

You mean that time John accidently grabed Sherlock's purple shirt from the pile of clothes they left at the foot of the bed when they ripped them off each other?

That purple shirt?

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

The pictures I've seen the shirt looks a little big on John.  Just saying.

They're probably using the same closet.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

But they were not at home in this episode. Of course they had one room. With two beds. And one wardrobe, I suppose.

Re: Johnlock: The Official Debate

And when you're searching around in the dark for clothes you removed in a hurry the night before it can be very easy to grab the wrong shirt.
