Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

Wow - I was confused for a minute - my mind saw 'acronym' instead of anagram and I was thoroughly lost.  I thought it was making a different sentence about the show with the abbreviation, like ASiP would be something like Another Soldier In Pain. (not a bad idea for later, but I'm glad I've got anagrams sorted for now).

Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

That was… amazing.        Sorry to have missed!  And tobe's made me laugh in humorous confusion.  What the heck is a swot?   *googles it*   Oh.  Wow… that actually works!
Hmm… so anyway, trying to find a good, appropriate one for the next to get to join in this time… really couldn't decide between two?

Proverbs:

ASiP: In war, there are no unwounded soldiers. (Jose Narosky)
TBB: There is no honor among thieves.  or   Actions speak louder than words cyphers.

(Which do you think?  I don't recall the first one as being as common when I found it in a search, but neatly works.  Thought there was a common phrase about 'thieves' honor' instead, but goes both ways)

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

Re: Game: Alternative titles for the episodes, series 1 to 3

I like them both, Russell. I have definitely heard the first one many times. I must just hang out with more thieves than you...

Proverbs:

ASiP: In war, there are no unwounded soldiers. (Jose Narosky)
TBB: There is no honor among thieves.  or   Actions speak louder than words cyphers.
TGG: You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation (Plato)

Ha!  Both of you… great.  I had a feeling someone might pick those!
Please pardon me again as I can't resist two equally 'perfect' ones. (albeit slightly bad)  *innocent look*
