I love them both and it's a really wonderful cause - such a brave lad.

I watched Stephen's video on YT which is very inspiring and moving. *thumbs up for Stephen*
On another note - some people already deduced the origin of Benedict's t-shirt from the pic.
How lovely to see him wearing reasonably priced t-shirts with author's quotes on them.

Attention, Polish fans. Benedict is said to visit the Off Camera Festival in Cracow to present "Little Favour":

Oooh lucky Poles!!

So far there is only an odd Google translated site with strange comments about his appearance. I am sure there will be better information soon.

And hopefully pictures after... so we can look for socks!

We all have our obsessions! Tee Hee.

Well the google translate site turned a word that was supposed to say "star" into "Father Christmas", so everyone is joking about Benedict having to wear and red suit etc lol!
I'm really glad that LF is still getting promoted, it's a clever piece of short film IMO, and I'm also glad that Benedict is able to help promote it given it's his little baby, so to speak, with sunny march. Exposure like this could help them secure funding for future projects!

Benedict's name in Polish - how cute is that?
Benedictowi Cumberbatchowi
Offline
Ha ha, where did you get that from?
Offline
Just to be clear it's declined, I think that's the third case (to who - Benedictowi Cumberbatchowi). When the name is a subject, it's just Benedict Cumberbatch
Offline
Well, then I guess the German version would have to be Benedikt Kumberbatsch.
Offline
Benedikt Plumperquatsch?
Offline
Pav is right, the name is just inflected in third case. It's different than in English.
;]
If you spell his name in Polish it'd be Benedikt Kamberbacz XD
Offline
If Benedict were a woman, then her name would be Benedict Cumberbatchová in Czech
Offline
Well, if you wanted to spell the name in German so that it'd sound similar to the English pronunciation, it would actually be Benedikt Kamberbätsch. And now I need to go wash my eyes, cause that just looks very wrong.

These translations are so interesting to look at!
But you're right TeeJay, it just doesn't look right!
