I am listening to CP S4 at the moment. Absolutely brilliant, not only because of Benedict of course but without his Martin Crieff it would be less entertaining.
I know "Artists in Crime" by Ngaio Marsh. The story isn't that interesting for me but read by Mr. Cumberbatch ...

Oh my good gosh. I can feel my ears smiling right now.
You're right Clare... this is like chocolate for the ears. Gawd, that voice!

I am so overwhelmingly curious about this new Hamlet. What sort of staging will they have? Who will fill out the cast?
What color will Ben's hair be?!?! *giggle*

Worldshaking questions ... and no answers in sight...

I feel the same Tonnaree, I need to do some research into Lyndsey Turners other shows and see if anything can be gleaned.
I wonder how many times Benedict has been offered the role...what makes this one the right one? Know what I mean?
I have a feeling maybe it'll be a modern version.
Not sure why but, his Richard III will be traditional so he may want to mix it up?
Purely waffling here, sorry!

Well I doubt he'll get the choice...he'll just be told!

Oh, no, I am sure he will have a say in that, especially when working together with a young innovative director like Lyndsey Turner. I never have the feeling that he just does what he is told.

They've worked together before, haven't they?
I think they'll probably work quite closely together - they visited Guardian HQ as a pair, and I wonder if he'll help in the production. It's something he's interested in, isn't it?
Anyways I'm excited to see and hear any news on it. That and TiG - which must start teasing soon.

Though I think we all know he wasn't talking about work.
Having said that, Steven has said that Benedict does have a certain alpha male imperiousness.

And I seriously don't have a problem with that..........................................

To be honest I WANT Benedict to have that.

Hamlet anyone? Sounds a bit strange because he seems to be in character as Rumpole but anyway.

A little strange yes, but darn it, that voice is sexy!
And I really don't know why, but I smiled when he said 'Denmark'... I'm really not full of national pride or anything... but...

Yeah. And I suppose not everything is rotten in the state of Denmark.

Well guys I've been on a wonderful day out with Rebecca, exploring my Island, and we come back to see Benedict has made the official Time 100 most influential list in the "artist" list.
Here's a link with a wonderful piece by none other that Colin Firth singing his praises.
Pride doesn't even cover how I feel right now. It's been a GREAT day
