Huh. I was just thinking how much they look like John and Mary here. He's been doing various roles, not surprising that he's dieted, worked out, etc, for them, just as Ben does for his roles.

He definitely isn't "just cute" anymore, not with this ... appearance.
I guess I'm a minority of one, but I never saw MF as "cute". It's got to be the #1 adjective used to describe him in this fandom, followed closely by adorable. And I don't think he's either. To me, he looks like a mature, smart bloke with working class good looks, someone with a tough guy face and way of carrying himself, not some kind of weird kitten in a male human skin. ??? Dunno, I don't get the cute and adorable thing and never have. So yeah, the Fargo thing? Definitely not cute.
