So would I! Oh I would...

I saw the Thriller video, and the photo of Martins children, in the very early days of my fandom. I was quickly enlightened as to their origin and how most of the fans felt about them. I have NEVER reposted either but I can't really regret having seen them.

I felt bad for looking at them both, but obviously it was before I realised they were illegal.
I didn't know the Thriller film was still doing the rounds...but we all always tell anybody who puts up the pic of Amanda and Martin's kids...
Tho as I say every time:
it's still on Google, so people are going to continue to stumble upon it.

We should build a monument to The Thing.

I couldn't hear a word he said... sadly... I would really like to know what he said about James!
But gosh that was good to watch, The Thing... that beautiful thing! And though I couldn't hear the words I could hear his low bass filled voice...

I think his final comment was that he had fun playing James...which made me wince a tad!

I also couldn't understand anything.
Only admired the timbre of his voice.

I also understood next to nothing, but he mentioned that he couldn't change too much for the role physically because he had the first series of Sherlock coming up - so I assume without Sherlock he might have lost some extra weight for the role of James. As far as I undrstood it he did lose some weight, but not all that much.
He also mentioned the director and said that she was fantastic.

Thank you Solar!
I know he said he lost weight for Sherlock because he felt Sherlock was so into his work he wouldn't even think about his body...
Aw, all this James talk today! and me watching PE... emotional workout here!

To paraphrase he said he contacted the rhabmydlosarcoma (that could be wrong) society and spoke to people with cancer to get a feel for how he should act. He couldn't shave his hair because of Sherlock filming so instead he lost lots of weight, swam and ran a lot an had a "weird" diet. Didn't drink either. He also spoke about helping the director and he mentioned JJ Feild helping too, said it was a very special project to work on.
Which I agree with. It infuriates me how a film, and a performance THIS GOOD could be overlooked by everyone.

Well, not by us!

Thank you Clare! Aw bless him!
And yes, why isn't this a film everyone knows? It's too good and well made... the theme as well is something everyone should watch at least...

It was very interesting! Loved the screenwriting talk at the start of the day. And the HLV screening (obv!)
