Bought the collected series, listened to all 3 seasons now (expect the christmas episode) and now started with the 4th season (up on iplayer vor 1 day still), and waiting for the CD to be delivered, when it is back on stock...

I had a bit of a Cabin Pressure moment when I was watching Parade's End this week. Because embarrassingly, it took me until episode 5 to realize why General Campion's voice sounded so familiar. Roger Allam, of course. *facepalm*

3 times where Martin sounds like Sherlock:
"Bo-ored" (About flying over Russia at Limerik / Shooting a smily-face on the wall in TGG)
shouting "Come ON" (About the sun not setting at Limerik / I actually don't know which situation it was at Sherlock)
with french accent "With the element of surprise" (about the polar bear at Qikiqtarjuaq / surprising John in TEH)

I had a Cabin Pressure moment funnily enough during His Last Vow, when Sherlock bursts into the basement of his mind palace yelling, 'Control! Control!` COuldn't help but chuckle despite the seriousness of that scene.

Yeah, that!
I forgot that... I had it the other way round, when I heard it at Cabin Pressure, because I bought it last week...

Yellow Car!
Well I used to own one actually . A Vauxhall Corsa (well actually Opel branded here) in pineapple (not juice) yellow ^^.
Bought the collected series, finished it in less than a week, now ordered the 4th but it is taking it's time as it is not on stock...
Therefore I listened to the first two ones at the iPlayer, actually it is even open to German users...
I really love this:
Arthur: Here you are Skip, nice hot cup of coffee.
Martin: Oh, it’s cold.
Arthur: Nice cup of coffee.
Martin: It’s horrible!
Arthur: Cup of coffee.
Martin: I’m not even sure it is coffee.
Arthur: Cup.
Has "Zürich" been aired yet?
I wonder will there be a CD for that one and for what price...

No, there's no broadcasting date for Zurich yet. I vaguely remember something about a Christmas special, so it may be quite a long wait. I also don't recall hearing anything about putting the last episode on CD. It seems silly to have a CD just for one 30 minute episode, so maybe there's going to be another s4 set that includes that one? But that's just a guess on my part.

45 minutes
mh well I think I don't want to wait until that, so getting Season 4 anyway...

I'm pretty sure they will release it on CD, one way or another.
And I remember John saying that he hopes it will air sooner than Christmas... and I hope that, too...

I'm almost dying to hear the Zürich episode...

Weren't the episodes 30 minutes? Am I remembering this wrong? Or is it just the last one that's longer?
Offline
The last one was longer than the rest

Ah, guess I missed that part. Yay for 15 more minutes!!

At the Cabin Pressure panel at 221bcon we ask John Finnemore on twitter about the air date for Zuich and he said all he could tell us was still "around" Christmas.

I listened to Vaduz last night - wonderful episode!
How did I not know about this series sooner???
I'm going to have to get hold of them all from the start

Isn't it fantastic? I love Vaduz, Princess Theresa's character is simply awesome. There's a behind-the-scenes report for this episode if you haven't seen it.
"Congratulations, Martin, you've got yourself a bobsled."

Well my series 4 CDs arrived.
I immediately contacted my pal, whose husband has all my other CDs, to see if they want this one too...
But she's not got back to me yet!

Thanks, Polar, that was a really interesting read (Ben looks great in the linked pictures, too!)
Besley, why don't you want your CD?!

Oh I do want it, to complete the set.
My pal's hubby is a fanatic and unless they leave the country(which they did once!),I'm quite happy for them to have the CDs!
They're not really something I would tend to listen to again.
Possibly on a long car journey, but I then suspect I'd be outvoted by the family!
