Yes, I think you definitely have to watch that scene again to see what's going on below the surface.
Then again, that's so true for so many scenes in the show.

Indeed it is.

Great moment, Solar. Just to think I found the scene a bit ridiculous when watching it for the first time. There are so many things going on there.
You did? Oh.

Regarding Sherlock's behaviour. Until I realised that he was desperately unsure of how to deal with the situation. That explained everything.

Ah, right. I needed a second look there, too.
I love the text on tumblr very much:

The Wedding Scene Season 3
We missed seeing Mary walk down the aisle, and the look on John’s face as his future spouse approached, in TSoT. Iconic scenes from most wedding ceremonies on film. That look of hope, joy, love, delight, awe, possession. Oh wait…we did get that scene. But it was in TEH after Sherlock and John reunite. If this isn’t two people in love and recently committed to one another, I don’t know what is.

I'd say someone on tumblr was pretty much dead-on.

Yes, I only now discovered the scene for screenshots. It is amazing.

I had no idea that he has such an... almost sad look on his face in that scene.
And the red curtain definitely makes for a great atmosphere.

Okay. It's probably a good thing I need to go to bed now anyway, because even if I could stay up... I wouldn't be able to after this amazing and once again beautiful picture. Thanks for that, Susi! Love it!
