Last time I contacted the job center about the unpaid work I will be doing for the Eurovision in Copenhagen I was informed I would not be paid my benefits and I would also be taken completely out of the system... which could mean months without any income at all... The kind lady told me to call her back as it was moving closer and today I did.
I had barely opened my mouth before the lady asked me if it was the Eurovision; and she then informed me they would just pause my benefits for those 2 weeks! I'll still lose half of my money but at least it's doable!
I feel a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders, with this, the transportation and my family being really into helping me it's all going to work out and I might even be able to buy silly things like food!

Maybe they realised (even if a little late) that it also adds a bonus to your applications?
Good for you!

Thanks!
I was just reminded why I effin' love The Eurovision Song Contest!
We were given a tour of Euro Club; where all the important people are going to party and celebrate... and we were told that one of the first days Russia and Ukraine were going to perform together on stage in the club; and the countries had agreed on doing it together on their own! We were about 100 people cheering over those news!

I'm super happy today!
I got to college this morning, and I attended my Fire Investigation lesson, I got given back all my assignments and I got distinctions (A's) in all of them!!!
To top it off, I've been super motivational and artisitc and I've started my very own fanfic!
Today is a good day.

It's not just Fire Investigation, it's Forensic Fire Investigation, which makes it so much more interesting. I study fingerprints, forensic photography, physchology, all things forensic. Fun but hard work!

I bet it's hard work. I always found applied sciences easier though. I feel much more motivated to learn about stuff that has real life uses. Do you plan to persue it as a career? Do you find yourself watching crime scenes on Sherlock and thinking that is not how we do it or that wold never work in real life?

I do plan for a career in it. (Hopefully!)
I'm due to go to uni next year, I've found the perfect course at a really nice uni, and I'm so excited. +yeah! I'm always doing that now, I'm always thinking to myself, 'no, that's no right!'

This! ^^
I do this so much ever since I started studying, it's ridiculous! My mum always tells me to shut up because it is television after all, but I just can't help it!

Ah, the joys of watching telly with professionals..
ER with my doctor friends was the best, all of them shouting "No, no, you´re kiling him!" or "Switch that off or he´ll die!!"

I know this sounds stupid...
But I just found the Hello Kitty bandaids I knew I had somewhere... I'm giggling like a school girl right now, sporting one at the moment.

*does a second take at you* Very weird. And hilarious! Just had to use one of mine a few days ago!

Well... I do collect Hello Kitty stuff! Even my handbag has Hello Kitty on it...
When I worked at the hospitals childrens ward and got a little cut on my hand one of the nurses teased me and told me she could get me a Disney bandaid... I smiled at her and told her I would much rather have a Hello Kitty one.

After donating blood (and getting over fainting afterwards) I passed by the local BlockBuster who was having a major clearance sale! I got hold of a used copy of Atonement and a still sealed The Fifth Estate (and a bag of candy too...) for much less than the cost of a meal, it was insane really.
To be fair, I don't think I can ever watch Atonement again... but I couldn't bear knowing it was about to be thrown in the bin.
I can't wait to watch TFE, I didn't think I was going to see it for years...

I finally escaped the clutches of my boss (who is a live generator of unfounded hysteria and nervousness) for five days! Oh, it′s Christm… Easter!

I have finally found some time to go to hairdressers and I'm rather pleased with the end result. My hair is difficult to manage but this stylist did a great job. I think they have found themselves a return customer.
