Thanks for posting those pics - he's looking super trim isn't he? He has such a lovely shape.
I was kinda hoping to see a 'tache - that's blown my theory,about him going on to film Lost City after Aus, out of the water!

Maybe he won't have one in the film??

This concerns me a little though..... Not because it's wrong but because he might not be coping and for that I worry.

OK - I'm going to be really honest here; this is something I've been hinting at - I think something's a little off, that he's not quite happy. Even that clip of him being so relieved that he'd got through the laureus awards upset me a little, because it made me feel something was wrong, somehow
It's why I keep banging on about all the travelling he's doing - he looks to me as though he needs to be home with the people he loves.
I'm saying this as someone who is prone to depression - I just feel that he needs to be with loved ones at times, not a team of publicists.
Having said that, I hope the media don't pick up his comments and make a meal of them; I don't think he needs that, either.

Well put. I had that same nagging feeling too! But I didn't want to articulate my thoughts or they'll just be blown out of proportion. I too hope the media doesn't pick it up! There's a good reason why his publicist was against it, she knows her stuff. I'm not saying anything against mental illnesses (being in the medical field) but the media can get pretty nasty and it's tough to do damage control once it's out there. Poor Ben! Waiting for a full panel report.

@Polar - I take his point; it's not something you should feel you need to hide.
But yes, if certain sections of the media pick it up, he'll be asked about nothing else for months - plus they'll have it that he's on the verge of a breakdown.
So much more I want to get off my chest about this, actually, but probably shouldn't say.

I know what you mean Tinks, i think that's why he said that his publicist might not be happy.

That being said I think it's great that someone in his position is saying he is only human, he could have seen the therapist for a whole number of reasons, and I don't think we should perhaps speculate on what (as I have a horrible feeling the media might do that anyway. Mind you as he said it in Oz it might not reach the other side of the world, fingers crossed).

It could be for just learning better coping mechanisms for fame, or it could even be for his own self esteem (I've seen a therapist for that!). He is very self deprecating. The person who wrote this on tumblr said they would be doing a full report and pics later, and this might reveal the context with which this statement was meant.

What I AM happy about is the fact that if he has had a problem, he's dealing with it in the best way possible and that can only be a good thing, right?

I've had time to think about it and let the initial worry subside, and I really feel this is a positive for our boy. He's doing great and he's going to be just fine ;)

I think you can stop worrying too much,as it has commented,the seeing the shrink was in the context of him getting help coming out of the caracter after finishing one role and getting in to next one or something like that. Shrink said he will be absolutely fine.
