I know… I know…  And another drunk Sherlock, because he's just so adorably different seeing his face that way…

And then turns around and breaks our hearts, of course….

Just this morning you were all tiny and small and made of clay!

I'm working my way up the greasy pole.  It's… very greasy.  And…  pole-shaped.

Jeremy Brett's Holmes leaps over furniture.

I read, but now I can't find it, that the Stag Night would launch a thousand fanfics. And I second that: there are a MILLION things they could have said or done, to or with each other...

Re: The Sign of Three Picture Thread

Here's something interesting I've noticed while I was (shamelessly) rewatching TSoT today. When you look at the waltz scene, all eyes are fixed on John and Mary. Literally everyone is looking at them, except for one person. Can you see who I mean (look at the last picture)?

He's probably just plotting how to get a hold of that furry guardsmen's hat (which I'm sure has a name that I'm too lazy to look up.)

Busby.
Actually they are really bear skins, as a busby is in fact shorter...but folk tend to call these tall ones a busby, too!

Re: The Sign of Three Picture Thread

Was this ever discussed before? Because it's so much fun to look at actual newspaper entries they use. Lots of gender switching in this one, plus very apt names of "hir" offspring.

Was this really necessary, Solar?

Sorry, but I found it and felt so sad that I wanted to share it so that we all could comfort one another...

Re: The Sign of Three Picture Thread

'Aw', again.   Somehow some of the TSoT imagery surfaced to memory again earlier for me, too… just love some of the 'quiet' shots….
