Well, if they made Mark look a bit older (or Benedict a bit younger) he might make a fine Claudius.
I would love Benedict to play the whole Rosencrantz and Guildenstern one day. This one scene was awesome.
So I wasn't the only one with this idea. And if we're casting from the Sherlock family we might as well go ahead and cast Lou as Ophelia.

Well, I can make a list, no problem. But to whom shall we address it? CVGG? The NT?

His agency and the NT, definitely.

Right, where can I sign?
Seriously.

Okay, so how do we go about this? In a separate thread?

Would be better to gain more attention.

But since we probably would/should sign with our real names, I guess we'd need someone who everybody can PM their names to and who then takes care of sending the message...?

Hi ladies, wasn´t here for a while. What´s the topic?
Group reservation for hamlet? Count me in :-)
I guess everyone of you wants to go there? Someone calculated that there will be over 100.00 tickets to get. (12 weeks, 1600 seats each night.....). Sounds good to me.

Hi Sava! No, we were talking about a petition for Benedict to also do "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern" after he is done with "Hamlet".
But of course we also want to go and see "Hamlet".
Offline
I don't really do this sort of petition.
But I do hope to get to see Hamlet.

This week on BBC radio 4, there's a series looking at famous literary characters, beginning with Hamlet, for anyone interested. I'm sure it'll be on iplayer later today - I'm going to have a listen later as part of my prep for the big event :D.
Seriously though, it should be interesting.

Just to correct myself; it's actually a serialisation of the play itself.
Just listened to part one on iplayer - not bad; I'm not sure I'm taken with this version of Hamlet himself, but that maybe because I'm comparing to how I think Benedict might play him!

Apparently ticket details will be announced in May now.
Maybe they're still building the rest of the cast and costing the production.
I hope it's not too expensive. Happy to pay £70-£100 I think...

I wouldn't really want to pay that much, but I guesss I may have to.
May THIS year?
I couldn't possibly plan that far ahead!
