Well, this was my first attempt at a Sherlock doll -
sorry about the sneaky plug!
But anyhoo...I started making another Sherlock sculpt but because his head ended up too big and it would have taken loads of clay to sculpt him a body in the same proportion, I decided to just sculpt his head and hands. In his prayer pose. And wrapped in his white sheet!
I'm not 100% happy with the likeness, and his hair is such a pain to get right, but he'll do for now. I'll make another attempt sometime in the future.

Oh that is such a beautiful doll! I can tell you've put a lot of love into this one!
His facial expression is so beautiful... and it's one of my favourite scenes!

I thought he ended up a bit like a vampire in a coffin - ha ha. Originally I wanted to sculpt him as a fallen angel with wings but in the end I couldn't be bothered! Maybe sometime in the future I'll have another go!
