I finally got hold of water colours! I used to be so into this about 10 years ago... but when my mother confiscated them and I got sick of hiding my work from her, well I sort of stopped...
I've started working on it again; I need better brushes, and a lot of practice... but I'm so happy to be back at this!

I just got handed back one of my assignments, one that I really stressed about because it's on a subject that really interests me.
I got it back and I got a Distinction (equivalent to an A)!!!

Lovely to read all your good news - well done everyone
I just booked tickets for a play I want to see in London. I wasn't going to, because theatre tickets are quite pricey now and the boyfriend isn't that keen on plays to be honest.
Then I thought, to heck with it, I could do with cheering up, and I support all my boyfriend's interests so it won't hurt him to come along - he's being OK about it, to be fair

I am so blessed!
Today I returned from a trip out with 2 classes of school kids.
As we entered the buildingl, I noticed a pile of lovely books sitting at the school office. I quickly spotted one of them was The Return of Sherlock Holmes.
I leaned over the desk and half jokingly said to the secretary: Nice books. I would like that Sherlock Holmes one.
She laughed and replied: sorry, they are a donation for the school library.
Half an hour later, I was on duty in the medical room when the deputy head walked in.' Here,'she said, 'present for you.'
And handed me the book!
