Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Concerning Bond, I know that typecasting would probably be a problem, but to be honest: I wouldn't want to see him in a Bond movie as anything else but the villain. A sort of sidekick to Bond, brilliant, he'd have about twenty minutes screentime once again.
He is brilliant in supporting roles, but I really want to see him on screen for more than just twenty minutes from now on! If that means he's playing an interesting Bond villain, that's fine with me. And let's remember: there are different types of villains, with different motivations, backgrounds, character traits. I'm sure he'd only play a baddie again if the role would offer him the opportunity to show something different. And I'd be totally fine with that.

I know what you mean Solar - I just want to see him as a GOOD action hero, if you know what I mean. It depends on what sort of sidekick he was as to how much air time he would get - the possibilities are endless. He could be assigned to rescue Bond from a situation, or Bond could be assigned to rescuing him. Or, like Goldeneye he could be a 00 agent who goes awol like Bond and they join forces behind M's back to avenge.....sorry i've been thinking too much about this!!

I should add Star Wars is, I believe, filming in April. And I've heard some of it will be shooting in London!!

Yes, like you said: endless possibilities.
What I would like to see him do much more than playing in Bond or Star Wars would be a romantic, witty comedy, though.

So dreamy
Yes, being a good agent needn't mean limited screentime and it also would mean his character might be able to return
And I know what you mean Solar about wanting other roles for him but the bigger the films on his CV, and the more versatile he is in them, the more chance that he'll get offered different roles.
Clare, if Star Wars is filming in April then I'd say he's definitely not in it as apparently he'll be in Australia in April according to another thread on here.

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I think he's only in Oz for a few days. We all wait with baited breath eh?

I would love him in a romantic comedy. I would love him in anything to be honest!

Not sure about that one tbh - I think it's the hair (still wouldn't say no, though;))

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I am loving all this Bond talk even though they might be nothing more than just us fantasizing, I agree typecasting is a risk if Ben takes up a villain role (although having Ben as a Bond villain would be unbelievably WICKED) since Hollywood's more familiar with him as Khan...A Bond ally would be great! There's a risk of him stealing the limelight away from Craig though...

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

I want to see Ben in a musical.  We all know he can sing and dance.

*goes back to staring at the "pushup" gif*

Re: Favourite Sherlock/Benedict pictures

Suave Ben has a tiny hand methinks..^^

Ben in the crowd is too adorable!! I can´t handle his expression, I´m sitting here smiling like a mad woman, my cheeks hurt already..

And yep Khan, that´s how I feel everytime my kids wake me up, too..

Lips.. *sigh* They look so soft, I want to touch them!

But my fun is over now, I´m going to pick up the little ones.. see you later!
