So... I want to bake cookies! And well... I want to make some inspired by Ben.
What ingredients would you use in a batch of 'CumberCookies'?
I'm considering using the ginger jam I have in the fridge... but what else makes you think of our 'Batch?

So...
Sharpness (Think cheekbones) - Ginger Jam
Sweetness - Chocolate chips?
Hotness - Pinch of chili?
Any other ideas?

Both gentle and kind of hot if well applied: vanilla

I am thinking something smooth, maybe like chocolate spread?? And sophisticated (which chocolate spread isn't, unless it's come from Harrods maybe!)

I've baked my first batch of CumberCookies! And I must say they turned out rather good!
Starting off: (Yes I have the tiniest kitchen counter ever! You should see my oven; it could fit in a doll house!)
The End result:
And if you want the recipe here goes: (sorry the amounts are a bit weird)
140grams of softened butter
200grams of flour (I used white wheat)
1 whole egg
120grams of sugar
½ table spoon of vanilla sugar and 1 vanilla pod
½ teaspoon of chili powder
30grams of dark chocolate chips
Ginger jam
Sift the flour in a bowl and add the other dry ingredients, cut butter into small chunks and add to the mix, combine everything minus the ginger jam with the egg. Roll and put in the fridge for about an hour.
Cut out the cookies about ½ centimeter thick. drizzle carefully with ginger jam.
Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 10-12 minutes.
Enjoy!
And yes, they taste awesome!
