Do any of you guys use Twitter?

It would be interesting to read each others thoughts on things not related to Sherlock (though, do we have any thoughts not related to Sherlock, hmm).

Anyway, I have a whole 3 followers at the moment (I know, impressive, eh) including my sister-in-law and our Prime Minister (yes, really).

I can always 'fix' anything if the link doesn't work but it should do.

I just signed up to twitter the other day to follow Lara. I'll add the other Sherlock people too. I don't understand how it works yet. If you tweet the celebrities do they ever tweet back to you? I don't want to stalk and bother them. But it would be great to get a tweet back once in awhile. Lara seems to answer fans occasionally.

Amanda Abbington. Martin's partner, interacts with some of her followers apparently. Most celebrities would get so many tweets that they can only reply to a very few, but you never know. A word of warning, Amanda swears like a drunken sailor, which may offend some. I love it because I swear too

It;s just a fun way to interact with people. I use it to vent my spleen, complain about my life and mention books and movies I love. I follow my sister-in-law to see what that side of the family is up to, I follow a couple of Aussie politicians, and Stephen Fry, of course (my perfect man, except for the whole gay, bipolar thing)

I've had a Twitter account since 2009 and I've tweeted maybe 12 times. I don't have this urge to tell things about my life in there to strangers. I do that in my blog, and I don't really give any personal information in there either, it's just my thoughts on movies, games, books, music et al. I'm only in Twitter because I follow a couple of individuals there to get the latest news on them.

I'm on twitter - yes Amanda does interact with people a lot. I had a conversation with her about some offensive thing the paps had done, iirc
