I think this is a Frankenstein rehearsal pic. I saw on twitter the other day a post about how physical the role was for both Ben and Johnny. They ended up pretty ill by the end, Ben has flat feet and got a bout of plantar fascitis (I've had this before and it's excruciating!).

Poor boy, the things he does for his craft!

Me too! You can come in after me if you like! Mind you a foot massage is the last thing you want when you have it, it's horrible! Rest and painkillers is the only way sadly

Directors and producers don't mind using their actors to do stunts-- in fact, some actors are good at it and insist on doing some or all of their own stuntwork (Cruise and Jackman come to mind, but I'm sure there are many). But the ones who are really in control of who-does-what are the insurance companies. The whole set can be closed down, if a principal actor gets injured badly enough not to be able to continue, and that kind of scenario is insured for many millions of dollars. The stuntmen are good at what they do-- specially trained, practically fearless, and they can make it look real, to say the least. It's like, would you want your family doctor doing your brain surgery? lol No, there are specialists for that. And in this case, the stuntmen are the movie sets' specialists.

One thing about plantar faciitis, it mostly hurts during those first few steps away from the bed in the AM. My husband had this, and he got new orthotic supports to wear in his shoes, and tra la! No more pain.

Hmm. We do talk about lotsa different stuff here, don't we.

I'll echo this - I won't sit through the ceremony as I'm only really interested in Ben's appearance (shallow I know!) and he might not be on until late!
