I think we all need help if we've got to the stage where we're looking for signs of the Thing out of shot
I get a sense that he's quite nervous sometimes and gets fidgety/hot whatever - which of course makes me love him more

He does get nervous (most nervous I've seen him was prolly the David Letterman interview) but that just makes him more human. It's endearing.

Actually I watched that window-scene from Sherlock in Slow-Motion... you can even see he eyes of the stunt man... now I cannot unsee this...

Not his hands, either. How sad is that, that I think I know what his hands look like?
They would never let their valuable star power actor do a stunt like this-- stuntmen get paid for taking the risk and getting these jobs done.
