I've had that happen with one of my favourite actors (a Canadian guy), and it's really surreal, I can tell you. He's got piercing blue eyes as well, and uhm... sitting right across from him, staring into those blue eyes not a metre away from you while he's talking to you. Just... wow. Honestly every fangirl's dream. (Although I must say, there was no "longingly" involved. And we did exchange words. Lots of them. Some were about Sherlock. I'm not even kidding.)

Hm, I think it's more a browser thing, because my browser automatically shrinks the image so that it will fit fully into the post, no matter how large the screen is. I shamelessly admit that I'm a fan of hi-res images, but if the majority would prefer that, I can make the images I post in this thread smaller in the future.

Please don't mess with success. I'm not having any sizing issues, for what that's worth. ??

Well, I am not fond of this giant sizes, Clare. When I download them and adjust them so I can see them as a whole image, the hi-res advantage gets lost anyway...

Oh I'm sorry I didn't know it was hi res, just saved it on my mobile from twitter and the uploaded thru photobucket without resizing. Perhaps I can fiddle about with it on my laptop when I get home later? Don't know if I'll be successful but I'll give it a go for u!
