Excuse my while I go change my text alert from "Don't talk out loud, you lower the IQ of the whole street" to this.
I will die next time someone texts me!

I just had the best laugh ever! Some site on Facebook just put up this post "When you eat food that's too hot and start breathing like a retarded dragon"
Benedict's dragon surely is not retarded... but I just had the funniest images inside my little head here

Now I know this is not related to Ben's Smaug voice, but it does focus on his voice. I just stumbled upon it over at YouTube. Apologies if it has been posted before -

A few posts ago I said I would use this as a text alert - well, I did. My mother and stepfather were shocked and I laughed so hard I nearly fell of the sofa ^^ The other day at work, my colleague who's a Sherlock fan, too, laughed and said it was awesome :D

This is from The Pillow Book! He plays this poet and in those segments you heard he's talking/wooing/charming the royal courtesan. It's on mp3skull.com

So NOT true. If you've seen the clips of him doing the motion capture and watch the moive you can honestly see where they mesh.

I read that they did not use his actual motion for the wyrm, but as a reference point as they crafted the beast's movements, muscle tone, etc. But then again it might just be some article.

"Come now don't be shy"... OMFG
and is it bad that my response to "How do you choose to die" was: By fangirling over you...
XD, no, but seriously I'm always so impressed about how much he put into this!

Am I the only one who thinks the motion capture thing looks really weird? xD
But I do love the voice. And the fact that he's psychoanalysing a dragon.

Thank you for the video! Ohhh Ben. That's fantastic work right there.

It does look a bit weird but it's great that he's having so much fun with it
I wonder if he prefers to voice projects rather than act in them?

Watched the movie on friday . I preordered it, as I do not visit cinemas and don't like 3D movies...
Of course I watched it in English (thank god my husband also knows English good enough), but I was curious about the German Smaug voice...
O.M.G. it sounds like a cartoon or joke or sth...
