Hello - mind if I join you
Hi 
I'm a long time fan of ACD's Holmes' stories and as such I didn't really get hooked by BBC's Sherlock until I'd watched season 1 a second time.
I've always admired Martin Freeman's acting, too, so first time around I was fixed on his performance if I'm honest, and wasn't really sure about Benedict Cumberbatch's incarnation of Sherlock.
(I've changed my mind since and now feel, despite the attention he's getting as a "sex symbol", that his performance as Sherlock and the work he has put into creating the character has been slightly underrated)
I'm hooked on the series now and look forward to discussing it with others who feel the same.
